1-Deoxynojirimycin(1-DNJ) is a kind of alkaloid extracted from mulberry leaves(Morus alba L.). 1-DNJ is a potent α -glucosidase inhibitor, which is better absorbed by our body. It can inhibit the conversion of sugar in the human body and reduce the increase of fasting blood glucose and postprandial blood glucose with few side effects and good safety.
